For those of you who follow me on Facebook, you already know that my life is INSANE right now.  No, literally.  I’m close to pulling out my hair haha

On top of attempting to run two businesses from home, finish two books, write three new books, renovate our new home, move out of our old home, travel to three events in a 5 week time span and entertain my 7 year old during the summer, I am also planning out our St. Louis author event, Penned Con.  Yeah…busy stuff!

So here’s a tiny update with where I’m at:

What else am I working on??  I’m creating my very first horror novel.  About zombies…to be exact.  Ok…moment of truth.  *whispers* they aren’t your “normal” zombies.  No flesh eating, chewing, gumming or ingestion of any kind.  Sorry Walking Dead fans.  I decided to go outside that box and consider a new twist.

This book will be placed under the horror genre but I feel that it would be better classed as a thriller than straight out horror…but who knows.  Maybe I’ll be creepier than I think 🙂

And of course the question most people have been asking…when will SAVAGE and REFUGE be out??  That’s a fantastic question.  I do have an answer, but it might not be exactly what you are hoping for.

These two books are very complex.  Not to mention very emotional for me.  Those sorts of books take time for me to write.  DESOLATE was a very hard book for me because I adore Fane and Roseline.  The next book, SAVAGE is going to be darker.  Roseline goes through some tough times without Fane by her side.  It was difficult to allow myself into her mind when she was being abused.  Now she is going to be fully broken and unleashed.

To answer your questions…I honestly dont know.  I am shooting for late September for the release of SAVAGE but I am not holding myself to that just yet.  These two books are VERY important to me and I want them to be the best they can be so I may hold on to them a little longer than usual.

So…life insanity aside, I’m very excited about these next three book releases.  They each offer something completely different from the next.  Inspirational romance.  Mythology.  Horror.
