I’ve had some wonderful readers contact me recently to tell me how much they enjoyed reading my book, FORBIDDEN. It always make me smile when they are shocked that I respond to them personally. But what they don’t realize is that I am just as pleased to hear from THEM!
So…if you want to contact me personally GO FOR IT! I love to hear from you! Take a glance at my contact page for ways to reach me. I will always do my best to get back with you as soon as I can.
Now, on to the good stuff.

REVIEWS FROM JUNE
I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!!!! I can not wait till the second, dying of a need over here! I’d reckommend this book to anyone that loves the whole vampire thing(even though they’re not vampires) 😉
Forbidden is an interesting take on the vampire myth and is more old-school vampire style. Roseline Dragomir Enescue has been married against her will to her husband Vladimir for over 300 years. Made Immortal at the age of 17 by Vladimir on their wedding night in a blood bath, Roseline has always dreamed of escaping him. She took a chance and fled Romania for Chicago. There Roseline forged unlikely friendships with Sadie and her brother William. She also falls in love with Gabriel, a human boy who may be more than he seems.
When Fane, Roseline’s best friend from Romania, comes to the states to take Roseline back, Gabriel, Sadie, William, and Nicolae, a foreign exchange student/vampire hunter, rush to Romania after her. Will they get there in time to save her? Do they even stand a chance?
After reading The Historian years ago, I did some research into the real Dracula (not really a vampire at all, but very bloodthirsty). Ms. Miles takes some of those stories and myths and blends them into a new and engaging vampire tale. If you are looking for a new take on the overrun vampire genre, I cannot recommend this novel highly enough.
at first i was hesistant to read the book since it seems a ya novel but im grateful i’ve read it now i’m completely hooked, so hooked that i even message the author myself to ask bout the sequel! and she’s so great she emailed me back! i tried messaging some author before getting nothing.. i was so surprised she replied and so soon! great author indeed
this book is so great a perfect start .. love in all .. love between two long friends/lover ..centuries. oh fane i hope to meet you again.. also love between friends, brothers, comrades…. and the wrong kind of love ‘vladimir’…
this book is a promise! a promise of great series…. it just barely begun
This is the best contemporary novel I have read in ages. If you are looking for summer reading, pick this up. Don’t let the “vampire” theme turn you away either. I am definitely not a fan of vampires, but this is NOT a vampire story like any other.
The story hooks you almost from the start and just keeps reeling you in till the final page… then you find yourself wanting to call Amy to find out when the next one will be available.
I can’t wait for book 2!
This book was fantastic! I couldn’t put it down and was on the edge of my seat through out! I am not a fan of the whole vampire obsession but this book was not like the other typical vampire stories we’ve all heard. This was very entertaining and I can not wait to read the sequel. I am proud to say I know the author and I’m very happy for her accomplishments!!!
