Danielle Bannister and I are REALLY excited to share some news with you. As most of you have seen, Danielle and I have been pimping our new banshee novel, NETHERWORLD, book one of the Hallowed Realms Trilogy. Well…we caught the eye of not only a fantastic agent but also a traditional publisher!!!
This afternoon Danielle and I signed a contract to be repped by Jo Schaffer of Gandolfo Helin Literary Management. Jo is a literary ninja and has a great vision for our books. We are very excited to begin working with Jo. She’s got some great insight into our goals for this trilogy and her suggestions for a few rewrites are going to make a good book even better than we could have imagined!
So what does this mean for NETHERWORLD? Well, the rewrites are going to take a little bit of time (but not too much!) so we are going to be working hand in hand with Jo and her team to get this book polished up and in print as soon as we can. More details will follow. We are so thrilled that Jo is just as passionate about not only YA books but reaching teens with a message. She’s going to be a great partner and this only bodes well for all of you.
Thank you for all of your support. You guys totally rock…but you already know that, don’t you? We can’t wait to see how NETHERWORLD evolves. We know the wait will totally be worth it!!
