Hi everyone!
I wanted to let you know that I am really loving the way DESOLATE is unfolding. It is dark, twisted and filled with varying ranges of emotion. For those AROTAS lovers out there, you are going to want to read this book and see just what Roseline went through to lead her to where she was in FORBIDDEN. Experience her transition, her torture, her first kill and her first friendship. Walk beside Roseline as she struggles to find her place in a world that is cruel and merciless.
We all love Roseline because of the strength she posses throughout the AROTAS trilogy…but that wasn’t always the case.
Her life was tough and so will be reading this book. I’m not going to sugar coat this and tell you that it’s an easy read, because it won’t be. This book deals with some tough subjects, and as such I will be placing a warning for any of my YA readers. As most of you know I try to keep my books as clean as possible, but one of these topics may be disturbing to some people.
I feel that it is only fair to give you this warning ahead of time.
I am still in a holding pattern as far as the new cover. Unfortunately I fear that the book will be ready to go before the cover is so I can not announce a release day just yet, but I will do so just as soon as I am able to. My goal is no later than mid December but that is subject to change.
DESOLATE heads to my editor in only a few short days and I am getting anxious to see what my beta readers think of it as soon as I start sending out the chapters. *fingers crossed*
After that I am off for a weeks vacation in the Dominican. A huge thank you to my husband for giving me such an amazing birthday gift. I have a very strict publishing schedule coming up in the new few months so I really need the week away to recharge the batteries. Then I’m back to finish my edits on DESOLATE and leap back into the rough draft of RELINQUISH, book II of the Rising Trilogy.
