My New Inspiration

Having a goal, when writing, is key to success.  If you know what you are working toward, then you are much more apt to finish it.  Well…today my husband gave me a HUGE goal to work for.  A shiny 2012 silver Chevy Camero.  It looked fantastic in my driveway!!!

Isn’t it pretty?

My husband arrived, grinning from ear to ear, so proud of himself.  The best part is that I didn’t even notice it when he pulled up.  His car is silver and not all THAT different in shape, so there I was sitting at the dining room table working on RECKONING and I don’t even notice the beautiful car pull up.  *hangs head in shame*  I know.  Cuff me now!

So we go for a test drive, and let me tell you, if you have not felt the power of that engine, you NEED to!  It literally purrs.  LOVE IT!

That car got up to 110 mph without breaking a sweat.  It flew.  Even my son has decided that he loves the Camero…mostly because it has a nifty back up camera on the rear view mirror.  My boring Land Rover doesn’t.  I can just hear what he was thinking “time for an up-grade mommy.”

We’ve been told that the 2013 model is just a few months out from being released and it has some nice upgrades.  I’ve got my heart set on one of those!

So here I sit, back in my writing spot, frantically calculating how many books I need to sell to get that car.  Come on, you know you’d do it too!

*Sigh* Back to work!
