Has anyone else managed to see the amazing pictures of the solar flares that are supposed to be reaching us today?  I found this picture on msn and think it’s stunning.  Isn’t it amazing how the simple things we take for granted each day can create such beauty?

If you are interested in reading more about how the solar flares might affect you, I’ve attached the link to the picture.  So far I haven’t noticed any issues with my electronics and with the way this rain is pounding against my windows I’m betting I’m gonna miss any chance of seeing the amplified northern lights tonight.  Bummer.  I’ve always wanted to see them!

What are your thoughts?  Are you interested to see the effects these flares will have today or do you think we should head from the hills, just in case?
